Storytelling Machine
One of the most enjoyable projects I've worked on recently. I designed a Storytelling machine for the pernament art collection of the Shetland Museum and Gallery in Lerwick. The machine was housed in an old battered suitcase with a gramophone horn sticking out the top. A storyteller, choose a marbles, rolls it down a shoot and when it hits the bottom a story plays out the horn. With the flick of a switch, the machine can also detect and listen in to Trows (Shetland Trolls).

Ideas Factory Films
I directed two shorts films for IDEAS Factory for their web-site highlighting the work of scottish creative types. One film was aoubt our very own Scott Airlie and Hole in my Pocket and the other focused on Dave Berry, the designer and owner of Dense Designs. The films can be viewed on the FILM page.

Ideas Factory T-shirts
On the back of directing the two short films for the IDEAS Factory I was then asked to design 100 T-shirts for the staff at their annual staff party. There are still a limited number of replicas in the SHOP.

C4 Film
I was asked to direct a short film for Channel 4 last year, for their 3minute Wonder scheme. The chosen subjects were a couple in Dumfries who had just opened a Falconry. An edit of the film can be viewed on the FILM page.
